Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Alfera, an AI-powered receptionist and lead-capture service provided by AUSTRALIAN MOBILITY TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS (ABN: 71 557 085 085), operating as a sole trader, trading as "Alfera" ("Alfera," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Alfera — whether as a business customer configuring the service, or as someone messaging a business that uses it — you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What Alfera Does
Alfera provides an AI receptionist that businesses connect to their Facebook Messenger Page (and, over time, other messaging channels) to have conversations with their customers, capture enquiries, and pass qualified leads through to the business's own CRM system. Responses are generated automatically using a third-party AI service and are not reviewed by a human before being sent, except where a business's own process includes human follow-up.
2. Business Customers
- If you're a business using Alfera, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information you configure (your business description, services offered, and any required details you ask Alfera to collect) and for reviewing enquiries captured on your behalf before acting on them.
- You must have the right to connect the Facebook Page (or other channel) you provide to us, and to authorize Alfera to send and receive messages on your behalf.
- You're responsible for complying with your own obligations to your customers, including your own privacy policy and any consumer protection laws that apply to your business.
3. Acceptable Use
You must not use Alfera to send unlawful, misleading, or harassing content, to impersonate another person or business, or to attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service.
4. No Warranty on AI-Generated Responses
Alfera's responses are generated automatically and, while designed to be accurate and on-topic for the business it's configured for, may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or fail to reflect a business's current offerings. Alfera is provided to assist with initial enquiries and lead capture — it is not a substitute for a business's own judgment, and businesses should not rely on it as the sole source of truth for anything safety-critical, legal, medical, or financial.
5. Fees

6. Service Availability
We aim to keep Alfera available and responsive, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Alfera depends on third-party platforms (including Meta's Messenger Platform, OpenAI's API, HubSpot, and Microsoft Azure) that are outside our control, and outages or changes to those services may affect Alfera's availability or behavior.
7. Data Handling
Information collected through Alfera is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
Alfera, including its underlying software, prompts, and branding, is owned by AUSTRALIAN MOBILITY TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Alfera to a business customer; you're granted the right to use the service, not to copy, resell, or reverse-engineer it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alfera is provided "as is," and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of business, revenue, or data. 10. Termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Alfera after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
12. Governing Law
